Arcadian Shores Golf Club
Located in the heart of Myrtle Beach, the Arcadian Shores Golf Club stands proud as a top-rated golf destination. Teeming with a lush landscape, it boasts a stunning layout intrinsically connected to Myrtle Beach’s rich golf history, providing every golfer an unforgettable experience.
Course Design & Features
Arcadian Shores Golf Club presents a classic Rees Jones design, who is known as the “Open Doctor” because of his course renovations. The 18-hole course debuted in 1974, making it Jones’s first solo design. This 6,857-yard par 72 course was artfully carved from natural freshwater wetlands and towering trees, offering a signature combination of beautiful natural surroundings and challenging golf.
The course layout is characterized by its wide fairways and large bunkers that reward strategic shots, and it offers five sets of tees, catering to players of all skill levels. Its Bermuda grass fairways and Champion UltraDwarf greens are meticulously maintained to ensure premium playability. Isolated fairways with little parallel play increase the feeling of serenity on the course, surely enhancing your golfing experience. The two most distinct holes- the par-3 2nd hole and the par-4 13th hole- are Arcadian Shore’s trademark features, rewarding the skilled golfer who can master them.
Practice Facilities & Lessons
To elevate your golfing skills, Arcadian Shores offers extensive practice facilities. It boasts a massive driving range where golfers of any skill level can work on their swing. For those who need more concentrated practice, the two large chipping and putting greens, which mimic conditions on the course, are ideal.
The qualified PGA professionals at the club offer individual and group lessons suitable for golfers of all ages and ability levels. These lessons, covering everything from the fundamentals to more advanced tricks of the game, can be tailored to focus on specific areas of improvement.

Aside from the golf course itself, Arcadian Shores offers a newly remodeled and modern clubhouse, where golfers can enjoy post-round camaraderie.
